Nicole LeBlanc
Over her nearly 15 years in venture capital Nicole has backed 200+ companies, with an expertise in Urban Tech. Prior to joining 2150, Nicole led the corporate venture capital and partnerships strategy at Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company that imagines, designs, and builds urban innovations to help cities meet their biggest challenges. Here she worked with some of Canada’s largest corporations across automotive, financial services and real estate to collaborate on solving key issues facing cities.
Nicole also worked as a director at BDC Capital, leading Canada’s largest seed fund across various verticals and geographies. She partnered with accelerators across Canada and helped launch the Women in Tech fund, promoting female founders and investment professionals.

Nicole began her career as an accountant in the manufacturing sector, and holds a Chartered Professional Accounting designation from Canada.

Her personal commitment to sustainability in 2021 is to use her bicycle as the main source of transportation, and to become a ‘weekday’ vegetarian.
